Everclear @ Wild Horse Pass
Everything changes. The music of your youth isn’t exactly how you remember it. At least it has proven true for the Punk Pack. Everclear and Marcy Playground brings memories of endless summers, days at school, even loss. Though hearing these 90s bands perform live, they provided an unique lens to reflect through the nostalgia of simpler times. Their show at Wild Horse Pass removed the rose-colored glasses while taking a more critical evaluation of our own youth and some of the songs that forged us.

Bridge City Sinners Announce A Fall Tour
So did you happen to like what you read earlier this year when we reviewed Bridge City Sinners? Well they just announced the second half of this year’s tour. If you live in the eastern US, you’re in luck! Check out how to get tickets and show locations below!

K. Flay @ the Van Buren
Everyone is striving to find their next big break or success story. Yet, the sheer disbelief that the Punk Pack would be booking larger and more popular artists within the greater music scene makes that progress seem impossible until it is. This was our experience covering K.Flay with Vienna Vienna; getting the opportunity to support our contemporary earworms. The disbelief in this case was hearing back from both artists, one after the other.

Bridge City Sinners @ The Historic Nile Theater
It’s funny how things work out. Picture getting tickets from a friend to go to a coveted show with your partner as a Valentines gift. Then you find out you get last-minute special access. Wild, right? Yet, that is exactly what happened to allow the Punk Pack to cover Bridge City Sinners at the historic Nile Theater with Jason Dea West as well as the aforementioned friends, Mike and the Molotovs….

Apocalyptica @ The Van Buren
Discover the magic of grail shows with the Punk Pack! Share the passion for legendary bands you’ve obsessed over, like Apocalyptica’s Plays Metallica Vol. 2 tour featuring Nita Strauss at the Van Buren. Dive into the unforgettable experience of seeing your grail band live—a dream come true for music lovers.

Terminally Ill @ Ground Zero Studios
The Punk Pack was in full force at Ground Zero Studios for an unforgettable night of live punk and rap energy. Headlined by Conflict Resolution, the show featured fan-favorite Terminally Ill, a Cali-based rap/punk band that never fails to electrify the stage. With Evan Williams of Skull Drug now on bass, the dynamic between him and “Uncle” Stephan brought a level of chaos and energy that fans have sorely missed. While familiar tracks dominated the setlist, every performance from Terminally Ill feels fresh and fierce. Whether touring or just passing through, catching them live is always a must for punk lovers.

The Pack have been long time fans of MAN WITH A MISSION (MWAM) For those who may not be familiar with the furry, Japanese rock band, MAN WITH A MISSION - you may have still heard their music should you be a fan of anime. Meatbag - Self Titled
Out of the millions of fans, we aren't the type to listen to an entire album in a single go. There is a certain appreciation of how some songs grow on you. Though Meatbag's self-titled acoustic album is that and more. It's short, sweet, to the point, and gives the feel of a personal set for your ears only. Meatbag presents as a letter to the self and one's inner child to keep the creative fire alive while enduring a cold world where some of the most persistent threats are yourself. There isn't a single bad track on the album. Running just under thirty-minutes and comprised of eleven tracks, we were left feeling recharged with a gentle kind reminder to care for yourself while coping with internal struggles…..

Mac Sabbath | 2024
I always thought Mac Sabbath was a band that you see once. Easy; one and done. I suspect it’s easy to dismiss the extremely serious genre of Fast Food Metal as comedy. Yet, if food-puns aren’t your bag, the band continues to bring amazing talent along with them...
